Add Religious Holidays to Outlook

It’s quick and easy to add religious holidays to your Outlook calendar. Follow the steps below, or watch this video tutorial to learn how to add religious holidays to your calendar.

     

1. Add Christian, Jewish, and Islamic religious holidays to Outlook. These holidays are built in to Outlook, but must be added into your calendar.

 

a. Go to File -> Options
b. On the left menu, go down to Calendar
c. Click the Add Holidays button under Calendar optionsadd holiday button
d. Check Christian, Jewish, and Islamic holidays in the opened dialog box

2. Import Sikh, Hindu, and Buddhist holidays to Outlook. These holidays are not built in to Outlook, but can be imported.
 
a. Download the calendar files as a zip file and extract the contents.
b. In Outlook, go to File-> Open & Export.
c.  Click on the Open Calendar button

d. Select one of the .ics files from the extracted zip file
e. Choose to Open as New 
f.  Repeat the process for all three files in the zip file
